Become a State DirectorKiana's platform is promoting Diversity and Inclusivity to her community. With a multicultural background of mixed Chinese and Spanish heritage, she wants to promote positive race relations by being a voice to those who feel underrepresented. As part of the University of Oregon's Chinese Philanthropic Leadership Association, Kiana is one of the lead spokespeople to speak at local elementary schools about cultural acceptance and appreciation. Kiana believes that embracing your differences is what makes someone truly beautiful.
In addition, as a San Francisco native, Kiana is also an advocate for Homeless Awareness as it continues to be prevalent in her home community. As a result, she began an ongoing six-year-long involvement as an organizer of annual coat drives and food drives by providing these donations for distribution to the homeless.
