Become a State DirectorMy platform is The ABCs of Alzheimer’s Disease. My goal is to increase Awareness of the disease, to Better services for individuals and caregivers through education and to Continue funding for additional research. I was a caregiver to my own Grandmom Millie whom I lost to the disease. I have been an active volunteer, fundraiser and congressional ambassador with the Alzheimer’s Association for more than 20 years. I am a leading individual fundraiser in New Jersey and was also awarded the prestigious Circle of Honor Advocacy Award by the Association.
I am the past recipient of the Garden State Woman of the Year and Women in Business awards for my commitment to community involvement. My husband is a firefighter for more than 30 years and I am a member of the Ladies Auxiliary. I frequently participate in other fundraising initiatives for worthy charities, especially those assisting veterans as my father was a US Navy veteran that lost his life to secondary scars from the Vietnam War. I have and will always find time to support the community and nonprofits that assist those in need. As Mother Teresa said, “The greatest good is what we do for one another.”
