Though I would love to support all the non profit organizations out there I would have to focus on three; Domestic violence, Big Brothers and Sisters and finally Wage Hope.
WEAVE’s mission is to promote safe and healthy relationships and support survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence and sex trafficking. 1 in 3 woman experience domestic violence, 15% of domestic violence victims are male, 13-19 year old and they belong in highest risk of violence.
Life hasn’t been kind to me in the past as I too was a victim of domestic violence. Weaves support back then helped me find kindness and love which was instrumental in helping me become the woman that I am today.
Big Brothers and Big Sisters taught me about compassion and patience; to love all children and give guidance to those without a parent or a sibling.
I also started supporting Wage of Hope (Pancreatic Cancer) because my daughter’s great grand mother died from this disease. In the process, I learned that more people suffer from it.
