Mrs. Louisiana United States - 2022

Tricia Thomas

Over 5.8 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's. Loss of vocabulary, difficulty of retaining information and remembering loved ones are some of the early signs of Alzheimer’s and should not be overlooked, regardless of age and health.

As a writer, speaker and advocate, my dad's story has been heard at our Nation's Capital, and my work and fundraising has aided awareness for early detection. It was too late for my family, and I miss my dad every day. Alzheimer’s is a horrible disease that is easily overlooked, but as Mrs. United States, raising the consciousness, thus accelerating the treatment of potential Alzheimer's patients, is my mission in life. Join me in raising the bar of health and hope, as life is worth remembering.
