Embrace G.R.A.C.E- Gaining Resilience and Cultivating Empathy

Everyday, I am given the opportunity to impact lives through my volunteer work for various national organizations, my work as a special educator, and my ministry as a worship leader and independent recording artist.

As a Bell's palsy warrior, I serve as an ambassador for the National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD) and the Facial Paralysis and Bell's Palsy Foundation. I am also an advocate for RAINN (Rape, Abuse, and Incest National Network), Speak Your Silence, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, the Black Emotional and Mental Health Collective (BEAM), and Children's Miracle Network. In my local community, I give back as a special educator in a poverty-stricken ward of the District of Columbia. I teach in a program catered to students with varying intellectual disabilities. I also volunteer for charities through my church and serve as a speaker/performer for events in various cities throughout the United States.
