Aricka Hickman

My platform is Kids Needs Supplies which I started because growing up I struggled with dyslexia, dysgraphia, and a speech disorder. Towards the beginning of quarantine I noticed that many kids were not getting the proper supplies that they needed due to the problems associated with distant learning. My goal is to help kids with learning disabilities at economically disadvantaged schools get the supplies they need in order to help them on their road to success. So far I've gotten to work with two local elementary schools, launch my website, and am currently working on expanding it to all over California.
