Mikayla Contreras

Mikayla’s love for volunteering and helping others started at the age of 7 when she joined Girl Scouts of America. Since that time Mikayla has volunteered thousands of hours in her community and surrounding communities with organizations such as Operation Blankets of Love, Soroptimist International, Relay for Life, her local SPCA, Veterans of Foreign Wars, The Salvation Army and local law enforcement agencies just to name a few. Although Mikayla volunteers for many different agencies the one that has grown dear to Mikaylas heart is the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization. Mikayla spends as much time possible mentoring children and being involved in the many activities Big Brothers Big Sisters have to offer the youth in her community. Mikayla feels very passionate about the organizations mission to help shape the lives of children facing adversity and because of this she decided to make Big Brothers Big Sisters her platform and uses every opportunity she can to share her platform.
