The focus of my platform is advocating and breaking down the stigma regarding “invisible illness mess”. I define indivisible illnesses as mental health disorders that weigh heavy on a person’s shoulders but cannot always be seen at first glance. These illnesses can include substance abuse addiction, depression, autism, PTSD, eating disorder, etc. I’ve learned throughout my personal and professional life that these invisible illnesses are often the heaviest burdens to carry.
